YAY! School is finished for the time being. It was fun and educational! I imagine I will have a very different perspective when I'm taking the class for a grade. I will have to apply for the full Physics Masters program in a few months, which means that I need to rearrange my life come September. Not looking forward to that aspect, but at least I'm better prepared. Taking this one course as a practice run has turned out to be an even better plan than I expected.

Today also marked a huge milestone at work for my current skunkworks project. It's amazing how excited you can get, and how much code can go into, printing out one little line of text. With luck, I can fix up the remaining nits, pass code review, and check it in all before I go on vacation.

AND MORE YAY: VACATION. I leave for Boston on the 25th, will be at PAX East for several days, will catch up with some area friends (sorry if I haven't contacted you yet; I will make every effort to do so this weekend), then head down to PA (YAY TRAIN!) for my Mom's birthday. Should be back in WA on 4/1.

Man do I need this. Between work and class, it's been a rare night where I'm not working until midnight and going straight to bed.

This weekend: pack, taxes, mortgage application, and every other thing I've been putting off for months.
