So, hi! It's been a while since I posted. Here are some updates:

Work is rough. We've found a bunch of totally bizarre problems with one of my areas of the codebase. But only on certain platforms. And we can't be sure where the problem is, exactly. And it has to be fixed now, now, now. *sigh* At least I'm finally getting the resources I need to fix it. I've only been asking for them for a year now.

OTOH, we've now released our big next version (though it can't really be called "done"), and had a wonderful party all day last Friday. I had a very good Mai Tai made by my grand-boss (who's as much of a run fan as I am), and then a series of very lovely scotches (the Talisker 18 was very nice, the Auchentoshan three wood was interesting, and the Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban was delightful). There was also delicious, moist cake.

Last Friday, saw the play that ctseawa has been working on; it was good, especially given what they had to work with. We went out for a nice dinner even though I was very sick.

Saturday, I continued the monumental task of cleaning, and went out the Cuff for Bear Night. Had a decent time.

Sunday, I had a nice hike up Little Si with badfaggot, and then we had dinner afterwards at Bleu Bistro. The food was good, but that places gives new meaning to the word "cramped". I doubt I'll be back.

Thanks to a post in seattle, advertising that they are currently 75% off, I am now the proud owner of my very own Space Needle annual pass! I will probably go up once a week during the summer. I can take a guest up with me, and I have a bunch of passes, so anyone visiting can count on not missing this attraction. Woo!

This weekend I am off with my brother down to Portland, OR to visit with cow briefly on his big adventure down to SF.
