Slightly more productive than I previously was

Today marks the 3rd very productive work day I've had this week. I just checked in the ~1900 line change that was my past 10 weeks of work, and now I'm stuck at work waiting for the official build to finish so I can see that nothing broke. So, I'll use this time to update LJ.

My previous plan to take the month of January off, and just focus on getting my life on track, has not been as successful as I'd hoped. Just after getting back from Christmas, I saw an ad in the paper announcing that January was going to be another month of prix fixe eating here in Seattle. Which means that half my nights are gone right there. Plus, I decided to get back together with James, and trying to build that relationship has taken another big chunk of free time. Now, food and dating are big parts of what I want to do, and I did get several important things done of my todo list, so it hasn't been a total failure, but I've made much less progress than I'd liked. So, onward and upward. I will attempt to tackle another set of tasks in February. My new PDA will be a boon, I'm sure.

Work continues to be awesome. Yay graphs showing just how much performance gain that my changes make. Cancun is coming up; have to really get my ass in gear and prepare for it. Yikes.

*ding* And now the build is done; there was no breakage. So I can go home and make Red Beans And Rice Without The Rice.
