Finally got my bike back from REI today, and since I was there *cough*, I picked up a bunch of other necessities. Things like new front and back LED flashers, some chain lube, and a new XL helmet. It looks less dorky than I though it would, and cost less, so that's win-win in my book. Now I just need a mounting system for my car, another for my apartment, maybe some new tires, and I think I need a new lock, too. So, in about a month, I should be ready to start biking to work. Yay! Maybe this summer I'll even head out on some trails. It's been a long time since I did any serious mountain biking, though.

Some of the photos that I uploaded to flickr don't have the same amount of EXIF information that others do. I'm pretty sure that that's because the Canon 20D only adds that info to JPGs, and not the raw files. Also, while copying the EXIF tags from the CR2 files into the edited JPGs mostly works, flickr is not displaying all of the info that's in the file. Grrr. I can fix it later, I suppose.

Got my (small) income tax refund; woo! Via an elaborate set of rules, this falls into the category of "found money", which means that half goes into savings, and the other half gets spent on something frivolous. This time around, it's going towards a huge LUSH UK order. I'm actually mostly over my addiction, BTW. I haven't bought more than a dozen items since last April, and I'm running out of things like moisturizer and shaving cream.

2006 photo progress: 253/1576 (16.1%) complete.
