The haps

I want to apologize to everyone for not responding to your posts, and generally not being around. My life has been crazy busy lately, and my free time has been close to nil. On the upside, I am seriously getting stuff done. For my health, I got some minor stuff done, am back on BP meds (new ones that seem to be working without those nasty side-effects my old ones had), had my surgery to remove an "abnormal" mole (that was not cancerous, thank goodness), and had my sinus CT done in preparation for my consult tomorrow so I can finally get my septum/sinuses fixed. Saw a financial planner, got my 401(k) in order, got my other month-to-month finances in order, hired a cleaner for my apartment, and got lots of other little tasks finished too.

Upcoming stuff: this weekend I'll be visiting the lovely kimuchi, who's putting me up for the Folsom Street Fair. This will be my first time there, as well as my first time in San Francisco, so it should be tons of fun. Hope to see etler and gulfie, too. The following two weekends will be spent on the East Coast, in PA and Boston respectively. I've talked about that trip, already, and I'm incredibly excited about it. The weekend after that will probably be spent down in Portland, OR, though that's not finalized yet. All in all, though, I'm well on my way to completing my goal of living these weekends to the fullest!

Hope to see you soon!
