Apparently some parts of the mid-Atlantic seaboard are having some rain issues. In particular, the "big city" of my hometown valley has been evacuated
just in case the new levees don't hold. There's a certain news snippet
that reinforces my opinion of the area. To wit:
Two tow trucks[...] both equipped with hydraulic winches, hoist a pickup truck from a 60-foot-deep sinkhole that opened up following days of rainfall[...]. A car [...] drove into the hole immediately after the [...] truck."What's that, Marge?" "Must be a new tunnel. Just follow that guy..."
