The fried chicken I made using Morris' recipe was very good. I need to remember to not skimp on the salt and garlic next time, and make sure to use peanut oil, but it's a winner. Alton's recipe uses pan frying, but I think deep frying it turned out way better, so I may just change that the next time I do AB's version.

I'm down to my last box of Peeps! How will I survive? What's the next marshmallow-filled holiday again? Halloween?!?

This past weekend involved lots of hot pounding sex w/Morris, which I needed badly.

My July trip to Fort Lauderdale for some family thing has been confirmed, so I'll get to see my friend Chris again after all these years. Sadly, there is no such thing as a cheap flight from SEA to FLL.

Hopefully will be going to Banya 5 (a russian bath) with a friend either this Thursday or next for some much needed (non-sexual) relaxation.

My computer is now sporting a shiny new DVD burner. Now if only someone made some Lightscribe software for Linux...

I've been pretty successful in fighting off my LUSH addiction, only buying some discontinued items. None of the items being cut this year are must-haves for me, so my bank account is safe there.

Did some clothes shopping; got some khaki shorts and new sandals. Still can't find the shorts that I want or sneakers.

Just about completed Ally McBeal (UK import, since they aren't on DVD in the US), which means Babylon 5 is next. I never did finish it (got until about halfway through Season 4), so I'm looking forward to that.
